Moisture is Key

Moisten your stocking cap or durag with water for the time you intend to wear it. No need for it to be soaked - just wring it out to leave damp or mist with a spray bottle. I've also found that the Duke oil spray works well for this method. Makes brushing a breeze in the morning.
