I am very pleased with the results I get using Duke Gel Pomade for wave maintenance. I find the gel form to be much more manageable than a traditional pomade and it doesn't require the excessive handling required to soften a stiffer product.

Moisture is Key

Moisten your stocking cap or durag with water for the time you intend to wear it. No need for it to be soaked - just wring it out to leave damp or mist with a spray bottle. I've also found that the Duke oil spray works well for this method. Makes brushing a breeze in the morning.
